ABOUT THE ALBUM :

Stronger Than Steel is the follow-up to Rustie’s critically acclaimed album, Chip, Chip.

Rustie co- wrote the title track and “Cowgirls Do It Better” on the new album . Other writers on the album include Terri Clark on “Fall In the First Place ” ( written with Gilles Godard and Bobby Tomberlane ) and Deborah Allen on “It Hurts Like Love” ( written with Chuck Jones). Rustie also recorded “Where I Used to Be,” co- written by Country Weekly magazine’s Senior Editor, Larry Holden, (written written with fellow CW
colleague, Jerry Holthouse and also Sergei Olkovsky). Willie Mack produced the album and is also a featured guest vocalist on “Stronger Than Steel ” and “It Hurts Like Love".
