- The dates have been announced for the 27th Annual George Strait Team Roping Classic. It's scheduled to take place Friday and Saturday, March 13th and 14th at the San Antonio Rose Palace in San Antonio, Texas. The event started as a small family roping by George and his brother Buddy in 1982.
