Well, I took my old flat top 

To  a   corner spot on Broadway

Just   to play & sing

Some of them ole Patsy Cline song’s

Oh… I wasn’t quite sure what kind

Of reaction that would bring’

Until this old man comes by, an

Says, Girl I’ll give y’all a dollar

  To quit your playin’

  playin’?

  Hell No! Baby……. your singin’……

Oh…Man…I wish that that old man wasn’t so hard on me

Cause all I really need is a ticket to the Opry………………..
