kennedy9154 I didn't know that...But they start playing it, and others around that time. I have nothing against Christmas music...My gripe is that every other genre of music EXCEPT CHRISTMAS MUSIC evolves. There are only about 15-20 Christmas songs, and every singer who ever drew a breath has recorded every stinking one of them, and the radio stations force it down your throat year after year after year...

kennedy9154 Yeah, sorry...I realized that after I posted the title. But there a lot of them that have nothing more to do with Christmas than a wintertime theme. I just wish the industry would evolve with some new songs. Ask any cashier in any store and you'll probably hear that they are totally sick of Christmas music by the 2nd week after Thanksgiving. The factory where I work, it is blasted at us from Thanksgiving til after the first, and I am so sick of it that I want to puke!

kennedy9154 My wife loves Christmas music while I avoid it at all costs...I told her the other day that it's a funny thing that as much as I dislike it, I'd end up married to someone who listens to it on purpose!

CraigBackstrom My favorite Christmas song is really just a love song...."All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Vince Vance and the Valiants.....Love the melody of that song......
