Wayne Thomas is an experienced singer/songwriter/entertainer who reached a high in 1998 when a song he recorded, co-wrote and released went to #6 in the nation on the "Nashville Tracker Independent Top 100 Charts". Wayne has toured in various parts of the nation bringing his unbelievable voice to thousands of pleased fans. His versatility is amazing, spanning from covering todays country hits, Southern Rock classics, to oldies from Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, The Platters and others. Although doing songs from Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Jack Ingram, and some of todays newest country artists, He can still belt out the good Ole Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Hank Jr. tunes also. Beginning at the age of 14 singing in his church, he soon found himself opening shows for Nashville artists such as Ronnie McDowell, The Bellamy Brothers, Shelly West and others at the K.C. Opry in Independence, Mo. After a long stint of doing shows with his show band, "Thunder Road", Wayne now does a one man show using tracks that is very cost effective for the various venues in which he plays. Each summer season, thousands of Lake of the Ozarks vacationers can catch Wayne's shows at various venues at the lake. Always a crowd favorite, Wayne knows how to keep a crowd excited and has become known not only for his powerful vocals and range, but also for his two to three hour sets without a break!!
