Theresa is originally from Denmark, S.C. She is a 39 year old, full time, single parent of two beautiful daughters. She has been singing and performing for a very long time. She started composing and playing the flute when she was about 13 years old. Around age 15 or so she started writing poetry. In 1990, her and her younger sister co- wrote the lyrics to their first song entitled “Leaving Me For Her.” . It wasn’t until around 1992 that Theresa wrote her next song, entitled “Saying I Love You.” In 1998 Theresa hit her first songwriting streak which is when “It Takes One To Know One”, “Do Me Like This (Do Me Like That”), “Straight Up” and many, many others were created. At the end of the year 2006 is when Theresa finished her 3 song demo entitled Carolina Country. Theresa feels that she is ready to be heard and ready to give the World a little part of her, most of which will be given through her songs! Whatever lies ahead, she’s ready!
