About
A small town girl with a big town passion and heart for writing and performing her own original songs. Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario., Canada. Lorrie is a passionate, soulful vocalist, song writer and rhythm guitar player. Her earliest music influences were from her Garndpa Jule as he listened and played for her and her siblings the classics from Hank Williams Sr, Ferlin Husky and many others. " I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry", by Hank Williams Sr. was the first song Lorrie learned to play.
Music was and still is a deep rooted part of her family and her upbringing as her Aunties, Uncles and parents sprinkled Lorrie with good ole rock and roll, country and blues. In Lorrie's own words, " music needs soul " and she portrays this in her own soulful presentation in everything she writes and performs. Lorrie also has stage experience having frontlined a local band "Obsession" for the past several years. Now she has ventured into pursuing her own dream of becoming a solo artist. Just recently finishing her first solo cd (soon to be released) titled: Lorrie Lynn Bolduc - High Road - a grand mix of soulful ballads, country rock and country songs. recorded in Nashville TN, at High Demand Studio. Yet there is no end to her singing ability, she can sing blues, rock and I am sure whatever comes her way.
Lorrie's own words sums it all up, " I have songs in me, I need to keep writing or I feel i will explode. I hope I keep writing and performing as long as anyone will listen. Smiling, happy and moving forward, bring on the music"
8 songs recorded/produced by Jason Mapes - High Demands Studio in Nashville Tn - 3 songs, website developement, promotion in the hands of Doo White of The Glass Poets Lyricists in Sacramento Ca
