In only 10 weeks, “Honey Bee” hits the top of the charts with nearly one million in digital single sales. Shelton holds the record for the fastest selling digital single to be certified gold by the R.I.A.A. by a country male. In addition to his new No. 1 hit, Shelton scored the most CMT Award wins at last week’s show with “Male Video of the Year” and “Best Web Video of the Year.”
The single is off Shelton’s eighth studio album, Red River Blue.
