MATTER OF TIME - 'An anticipational song of a sweet reunion in life'.
Chorus:It's a matter of time

             I'll be on this train

             Coming to you Mama

             O'Papa all the way

             It's a chatter of prime

             Picking up my gain

             Hugging you Mama

             O'Papa home away

First Verse:School days are over

                  Twilight zone for the holidays

The exams was good and moreover

I did my best and passed by His grace

*The Lord has kept me safe and sound

Through this term of many things

Lessons I've learnt and games on playground

Has made me ready for new beginings

(Repeat chorus................)

Second Verse:I'm so joyful for the vacation

An answer for a lease of ease

                       Friends I've made in education

Are all so glad with yes and no to please

*At the ring of the closing assembly

Helter skelter to a ball for home

Teachers are happy to leave so humbly

The rumbling train I beckon no more to roam

(Repeat chorus.................)

Footnote:I wrote this song out of thrilling flashbacks of waiting to go home on vacation in my school days. There was a train route that usually could take you from a part of the big town where my school was,to the town center where the main transport station for travelling outside the town to other places was situated. It was usually exciting at the close of every academic term to sit or stand with your laugage at various places in the school, waiting for a ride to a chosen point of destination on any terminal school break. Most students at this juncture of the song will be anticipating the meeting of their parents, guardians and friends to go home with, and that becomes so exciting to behold.I guess in life as a whole,it is always good and refreshing to enjoyably anticipate the end of one term in anything for the other. - CBJ.
