October 11, 2011 – Platinum-selling country star Billy Currington releases his latest single “Like My Dog” to radio today. The single, from his fourth studio album Enjoy Yourself, is a fun tongue-in-cheek song about wanting your significant other to love unconditionally the way your dog does. Billy recently wrapped up his supporting slot on Kenny Chesney’s ‘Goin’ Coastal’ Tour and has several headlining shows through the end of the month.

“A lot of people relate to this song,” said Billy. “It’s always fun performing it live!”

Billy’s first two singles from Enjoy Yourself, “Pretty Good At Drinkin’ Beer” and “Let Me Down Easy,” marked his fourth and fifth consecutive #1 singles, with seven #1’s overall. October 13, 2011 – Platinum-selling country star Billy Currington has been nominated for two American Country Awards with his #1 hit single “Let Me Down Easy” for “Single of the Year” and “Single of the Year: Male.” The second annual American Country Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Monday, December, 5^th at 8:00pm EST on FOX. Starting today, fans can vote once each day for their favorite nominees at www.theacas.com. Voting is open until Friday, Nov. 11^th.

“I loved this song the first time I heard it, and for it to go #1 and now be nominated for the ACA's is such a cool thing,” said Billy. “I really love that the fans are voting on these awards, that makes it really special.  I'm so grateful to my friends Marty Dodson, Jennifer Hanson, and Mark Nesler who wrote “Let Me Down Easy” and to the fans that sing along to it every night.”
