APPEARANCE ON LIFETIME’S “THE BALANCING ACT” FOLLOWS ON MAY 30

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 23, 2012) – This Memorial Day, May 28, tune in to catch Lee Greenwood perform his signature song, “God Bless the U.S.A.,” and discuss his compelling new book, “Does God Still Bless the U.S.A.: A Plea For a Better America,” on "Fox & Friends" (6:00 am/EDT), Daystar’s “Joni,” (check local listings) and GAC’s “Great American Salute” (check local listings). Additional holiday-week appearances include Greenwood’s performance and interview on Lifetime TV’s, “The Balancing Act,” on Wednesday, May 30 (7:00-8 AM EDT & PDT, 6:00-7AM CDT).

A Presidential Appointee serving on The National Endowment for the Arts Council, Greenwood was honored with the prestigious National Patriot’s Award, presented by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society. In addition, Greenwood is the national spokesperson for Operation Never Forgotten (ONF), an all-volunteer national non-profit communications service that connects military and civilian worlds through non-partisan public service announcements (PSAs).
