NMG Acoustic Performace Night to Feature Johnny Neel,
John Capek and More!!
Come out to be entertained and to network with
veteran writers and “New Faces.“
Nashville Music Guide (NMG) is proud to once again
sponsor the monthly Acoustic Performance Night
on Thursday
April 5th from 8pm to
midnight. The event hosted by NMG founder Dan Wunsch,
features veteran singer-songwriters and “label ready”
new faces showcasing their writing, singing and
performing talents each in a 30 minute set.
This will be last monthly NMG Acoustic
Perfromance Night hosted by Dan Wunsch before he
leaves for Los Angeles. So come say
farewell!
The April 5th event will again be “a really big show”
with performances by:
* John Capek - Internationally acclaimed and Grammy
nominated singer-songwriter, musician and producer
with songs recorded by Rod Stewart, Bonnie Raitt,
Diana Ross, Joe Cocker to mention a few.
* Maureen Murphy and Jaime Babbit - Awesome singers
accompanying John Capek.
* Johnny Neel - Iconic Nashville recording
artist, singer-songwriter, musician and Grammy award
nominee recognized in the music world for his work
with the Allman Brothers, Lonnie Mack and Gov't Mule
to mention a few.
* Jeff Olson - Real kountry recording artist with
mega-hits on independent charts.
* Jon Dakota - A true storyteller and troubadour with
critical acclaim from industry professionals.
* Sasha Aaron - New Face singer-songwriter with
contemporary country songs and opening act for Sister
Hazel.
NMG continues to be on the forefront of media

a new destination in Music City’s Midtown area, will
welcome several artists and songwriters
on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 for a special
“Words
For Warriors”
acoustic concert to benefit keeping warriors
outdoors.”
Every Wednesday, Lucy’s Country Café hosts “Sing For
Your Supper,” where diners can expect to see
established and aspiring songwriters take the stage. On
April 11, performers will sing for much more than their
supper; the evening will transform into an acoustic
concert filled with country favorites to provide
entertainment and raise money for the cause.
“We hope this will become the first of many annual
events at Lucy’s Country Café to support KWO
initiatives,” states Bobby Pinson, owner
of Lucy’s Country Café. “After seeing first-hand
what the outdoor experience brings to life for our
warriors, I knew that I needed to become involved in
helping this particular charity grow. I’ve met,
personally, those who have enjoyed the outdoor
adventures, have seen where the money goes and
witnessed the profound effect it has on the
participants’ by supporting their mental health and
helping their return to normalcy. It is
life-changing.”

Country Music Superstar Hank Williams Jr's
Bocephus Records Signs Exclusive Licensing Agreement
With Blaster Entertainment
Blaster Entertainment, one of the country’s
leading talent management and entertainment labels, and
award-winning Country music recording artist Hank
Williams, Jr. announced that they have entered into a
worldwide exclusive three year licensing agreement. The
new partnership comes only months before Williams’
highly anticipated new studio album release, which will
hit retail in June. The deal, which was
signed this week, licensesBlaster Records, a division
of Blaster Entertainment, to distribute Bocephus
Records’ new release for the next three
years.
“When I started Blaster Records a bit over five years ago, my goal was to create an entertainment company that became home to some of country music’s biggest stars,” said Tom Porter, CEO of Blaster Entertainment. “Hank Williams Jr. is a giant in the business and we are beyond excited to welcome him into the Blaster family.” “I’m excited about this new album we’ve been working on,” Hank Williams Jr. said. “When looking at labels, I had several choices. When my team brought me the opportunity from Blaster and with the soon to be announced distribution deal, it was the best deal in town. Janie Fricke To Host Ernest Tubb Midnite
Jamboree on April 7th
Two-time CMA
“Female Artist of the Year” Set to Perform at Opry
Country Classics at
the Ryman Auditorium April 5
Janie
Fricke will host the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree
radio show on Saturday, April 7. The
live broadcast kicks off at midnight from the
Texas Troubadour Theatre and can be heard on WSM 650
AM or online at
www.wsmonline.com. Two nights prior,
Fricke will perform a few of her country hits as she
takes part in Opry Country Classics from
the historic Ryman Auditorium.
Ernest
Tubb Midnite Jamboree, the second longest running
radio show in history, has been a country music
fixture since its inception in 1947. Fricke will be
sharing her country turned bluegrass hits from her
recently released album, Country Side of
Bluegrass, with the audience. She will be
joined by 2011 ICM Bluegrass Duo of the Year, The
Roys. David McCormick, CEO of Ernest Tubb Record
Shops is looking forward to the show, “I’m really
excited for my longtime friend, Janie Fricke, to host
the Ernest Tubb Midnite Jamboree. I’ve been trying to
make this happen for a while now. And to have The
Roys join her makes it even more special.”
Fans of
Fricke’s classic country music can hear her when she
performs at Opry Country Classics
at
the Ryman Auditorium Thursday. She will be backed by
the talented Opry house band. Larry Gatlin will
serve as host while Lynn Anderson, Lorrie Morgan and
Pam Tillis are also scheduled to perform.
