The NMG Annual Blues Jam that was held last month was such a huge success that we decided to do a repeat performance .... every month!

Our next NMG Blues Jam is this Thursday, June 21st at Winner's Bar & Grill on Division St. at 7:30pm. If you missed the first most of the same great acts will be back and we assure you that the second time around will be just as great, if not better!

This Thursday, the NMG Blues Jam's house band will be Paris Delane and The Ledgend Elite, which was formed after the first NMG Blues Jam and consists of some of Nashville's greatest - Ronnie Lutrick, Johnny Hiland, Pino Squillace, and Frank Michaels Ortegel.

There will also be drink specials until 10pm!

$2 Bud Light Longnecks
$2 Coors Light Longnecks
$3 Grape & Cherry Bombs

The NMG Blues Jam is tenatively set to be the third Thursday of every month at Winner's Bar & Grill. So mark your calendars for the future and we hope to see you alll there this week!
NMG Acoustic Performance Night at Douglas Corner

The first Thursday of every month at Douglas Corner, Nashville Music Guide has an acoustic performance night hosted by Sam Cooper. It is a chance to have featured artists in an intimate setting that range from new talent to legenedary performers.

The July NMG Acoustic Performance will be on Thursday, July 5th and has an amazing line-up:

8 PM--Abi Tapia
8:30 PM--Jimbo Sales (formerly with Vern Gosdin)
9 PM--Van Preston
9:30 PM--Chris Goff (of “The Singing Goff Family” fame)
10 PM--Donnie Winters (of the Winters Brothers Band)
10:30 PM--Adolfo Lee Mayo

These are some great performers that you should not miss, so be sure to mark your calendars to come out and check this event out. It will be the perfect post-Fourth of July destination!

Kellie Pickler Wows Crowd At JD Legends

Anyone who attends a lot of concerts can tell you that a venue can add (or take away) from a concert experience. JD Legends in Franklin, Ohio is one of my favorite venues for a lot of reasons. JD Legends is such an unique facility. It contains a state-of-the art bowling alley, full service restaurant and bar, arcade, tiki bar, sand volleyball courts and a concert venue all under the same roof.

I have had the privilege of watching this facility evolve into a special place that can provide a one-of-a-kind entertainment experience for their customers. The management and the staff there are so very nice and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure everyone is well taken care of and has a great time while there. Amazingly, they provide the same personal attention on nights that they host national acts as they do on a regular day.

JD Legends features a very nice stage. The crew works very hard on show days to ensure the light and sound quality of these concerts equals what one might expect at a major arena. The fans can stand on the large patio or down in the sand, where the sand volleyball games are playing. There are also tables in the VIP Pavilion and Club areas that are also available for purchase. Concerts at JD Legends provide a much more intimate setting than you would expect if you saw artists in a much larger venue. READ MORE >>>>

Opry Honors Most Loyal Fan

Paul Eckhart moved from northeastern Pennsylvania to Nashville in June of 1972. That night he decided to go to see the Grand Ole Opry, even before he was unpacked and settled in his new home. Eckhart saw something on the stage he liked, and he has chosen to continue the tradition for the last 40 years. Eckhart hadn’t missed a weekend at the Opry since he attended that performance in 1972.

Last Saturday, June 16, the Opry honored Eckhart for his long-time loyal with the first-ever Fan Award. He and his family also got to enjoy the show from the front row. The Opry hasn’t been a Eckhart family tradition for the last four decades, though. His wife has had a tradition of her own – going to play Bingo nearly as long as he has been attending the Opry.READ MORE>>>
