He's Back!!! Chris Cagle's New Single Climbing
Charts; New Album Set for 2012
Release
Bigger Picture Group hit-maker Chris
Cagle is celebrating his Music Row homecoming
with “Got My Country On,” the first single from his
highly anticipated fifth in-studio album, due out in
early 2012. Rocketing to No. 36 on
the BillboardCountry Charts only 11 weeks
after its debut, this high-energy take on a classic
country theme has gained more than 3,152,900
impressions to date, reached an audience of 4.2
million and maintains a consistent bullet on the
charts. Using Chris’s way of life – a balance of
working hard and playing hard – as a launching pad,
“Got My Country On” explores two sides of Cagle – the
rocker and the rancher. Written by Kelly Archer,
Justin Weaver and Danny Myrick (songsmiths for
country greats like Jason Aldean, Craig Morgan and Jo
Dee Messina), and produced, in conjunction with
Cagle, by ACM and CMA awar d winner Keith
Stegall, the song is a perfect combination of
the talents of these music industry heavy-hitters,
and showcases Cagle’s musical range.
The song, now available to country stations
nationwide, is a taste of what’s to come. “The first
moment I heard it, I thought – this resonates,” Chris
says. “And the more I got into it, the more I
realized I could not come back to country music and
to radio and to my fans with a better representation
of who I am as an individual.” Cagle is hard at work
in Nashville recording his forthcoming full-length
album.
This single resoundingly reminds old fans of what
they have missed during Cagle’s absence from the
music scene and is also fast attracting new fans with
the classic Cagle rock-infused country sound.
The "Got My Country On" music video, currently airing
on CMT, GAC, CMT
PURE and CMT.comreceived over
10,400 online views in its first
week. Directed by Marcel and filmed on
location at the Cagle family “Big Horse Ranch” in
Marietta, Okla., and at a raucous tour stop at Billy
Bob’s in Fort Worth, the video illustrates to viewers
how Cagle gets his country on: by
performing his loud, self proclaimed “redneck rock ‘n
roll” and by getting some serious work done
maintaining his impressive Oklahoma homestead.
Cagle’s professional credits include two gold albums,
two No. 1 albums and 12 charted songs. From
2000-2008, Cagle released an impressive string of
hits that resulted in a scorching hot career.
After taking a break to focus on the thrills that
family and hard work bring him, Chris is back in
action.

Nashville’s Parallel Music Publishing Signs Its First Songwriter
By My Country Space
Nashville,
TN (November 28, 2011) -- Parallel Music Publishing is proud to
introduce Blake Chaffin as the first songwriter signed to its
Nashville roster. Chaffin joined Parallel earlier this
month and is already cranking out potential hit songs for the
company.
“To have someone believe in you is incredible,” Chaffin says of his new opportunity. “This is a dream come true and I can’t wait to see what’s next.”
Chaffin, a graduate of Kansas State University, moved to Music City in 2002 and began learning the craft of songwriting. He has written or co-written dozens of songs and has had artists consider recording some of them. “Yes, it took 9 years to land this writing deal,” Chaffin admits, “but I wouldn’t change a thing about the journey that brought me to this point.”
“Blake has great ideas, strong melodies and a passion for writing,” says Tim Hunze, who heads up Parallel Music Publishing. “History has proven that those are the makings of a great songwriter. Parallel is thrilled that we signed him before someone else did.”
Parallel Music Publishing is part of Los Angeles-based, Parallel Entertainment which opened its Nashville operation earlier this year. The publishing company is a partnership between Hunze, Parallel Entertainment Founder & CEO, J.P. Williams, and C.T. Wyatt, who runs the Nashville office of Parallel Entertainment.
Parallel Entertainment is a full service talent management
and production company. It has produced everything from motion
pictures to music albums to programming for a variety of cable
television networks, including HBO and Comedy Central. Its talent
roster boasts some of comedy’s most notable acts like Jeff
Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, and Lisa Lampanelli
as well as music acts like Zella Day and Warner Music Nashville
recording artist, Dean Alexander. It also manages actors
including former CMT Insider host, Lance Smith.
Since signing with Parallel, Chaffin has invited a steady stream of co-writers to the company’s new Music Row office. “ I know how many songwriters there are in this town,” he says. And I know how few slots there are for them at publishing companies. Believe me, I know how lucky I am.”
About Parallel Entertainment
Founded in 1991 by CEO J.P. Williams, Parallel Entertainment is a
Los Angeles-based talent management and production company.
Parallel develops, finances and produces a wide range of
entertainment projects, including feature films; DVD premiere
features; comedy and music albums; and television series and

Nashville, TN (November 23, 2011) – As Aussie sister-trio,

Dauphin takes a deeper look into their efforts in a feature
forBillboard.com going live today. In the

With the August U.S. release of Wrapped Up Good,

had the great honor of making their Grand Ole Opry debut
September 9 and were immediately invited back to play September

Country music,” also took notice and selected The McClymonts for
a Billboard.comfeature. Dauphin
recently caught up with the girls and explored their aggressive
marketing and viral marketing campaign, the differences between
the U.S. and overseas, and their recent CMA award. The article is
