Longneck Road was formed in Beaumont, Texas in early 2008, primarily to perform Dick LeMasters' original music. The band's music is Texas Country with a little rock mixed in, so the band calls the music Texas Rock. Longneck Road has performed in several clubs in the Southeast Texas area, and in 2009 has focused on fairs, events, and festivals, playing the South Texas State Fair in March, and the Boys Haven Food & Music Festival on May 23, 2009. This was a big event for Longneck Road, as the band opened for Django Walker and got the opportunity to perform on the main stage at Beaumont's Ford Park Pavilion. Longneck Road is currently finishing it's first album, and plans to continue to perform in and around Texas.
