J.C.’s specialty is entertainment. Entertainment has not only been his fascination, but his passion. He has been a professional quitarist for many years, and is equally proficient on the keyboard synthesizer and American Indian flute.
High Eagle has been accepted for official entertainment rosters of the Oklahoma Arts Council and the Mid-America Arts Alliance which covers a six-state region in the U.S. Recently, he performed a 40-stage concert at the Oklahoma City International Arts Festival.
An artist who is more than merely an entertainer — he is deeply involved in "world service," desiring to tour widely for others to hear his music. Not only a performer, but also a songwriter, his compositions of songs and instrumentals range from country and western to folk and popular ballads. He has 193 registered musical compositions to his credit, and recently completed a new C&W CD demo of original songs by hired musicians/performers.
The mark of a good songwriter, his music connects with the listener emotionally. His music has much appeal because his listeners have been there, identifying with the same feelings, emotions and experiences.
Born of Indian lineage in Oklahoma, the heart of country music, J.C.’s earliest musical influences came from his mother. Self-taught at 7, he began playing the guitar and later studied with professional guitarists and gaining much on-the-job experience. Since, he has traveled coast-to-coast performing to popular and critical audiences, and has appeared with top name headliners.
High Eagle has taken his music around the country and the world introducing it to a wide variety of genres and yes, even symphony audiences! He has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the National Symphony Orchestra at the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
J.C. plays on the heart as well as the guitar, presenting his songs and music as he feels from within. For all their simplicity, his music and writing bubble with fresh ideas about things-imaginative ideas about love, humor, a time, a place-things in everyday life of the common man or woman. A committed musician, he brings a new slant to music with a new twist to old themes.
The sound of his guitar and heart-felt songs are sometimes a blending of both traditional and contemporary melodies that permeate the soul and cry for attention to be heard. They seek to bring to the world something fresh and unique yet "commercial" in music.
High Eagle was featured as a composer/musician for soundtrack music to the CBS television movie, "Walker, Texas Ranger," starring Hollywood actor Chuck Norris.

GUESTBOOK
Hi J.C.
I was just checking out your photos and wanted to tell you that I really like your black shirt with the music embroidery. Really cool. Believe it or not, I can't get a good pair of boots, Stetson or anything 'western' in this neck of Georgia - I've got to drive about 30-40 miles to the closest shop! Anyhow, thanks for posting your photos!
God bless!!
