Sandy & Dawn’s Birthday Weekend – Toby Keith Concert

Tooooo much fun all in one weekend. Sandy, Dawn, and Big John, met up with our friends Scott & Cathy from Stagecoach 08. Dawn’s “New boyfriend” Sam, (which is a keeper) met up with us later at the Brandin’ Iron.

We started the party at the Branding Iron Saloon Friday where we got a chance to kick up our heals. The owner and waitress gave us VIP treatment and even bought several rounds for us. Not to mention not even charging for the all the food we ate!

Scott & Cathy ran into 6 MPs taking a break from the war in Iraq. Many of these boys have already served multiple tours over in Iraq. So we decided show our appreciation to those boys by sending them to the Toby Keith concert with us. Thanks guys for the great job you do for us!

Of course the concert started off with tailgate party over in the RV section. Once the show started, We got an extra surprise when we heard “Hillbilly Hook” by “Trailer Choir” one of our favorite songs we listen to right here on MyCountrySpace. Those guys were awesome! This is really what kicked it off in the right direction! What a great surprise.

Montgomery Gentry opened for Toby Keith and played all the new songs off their new album “Back when I knew it all” . They really got the crowed pumped up.

Of course the TOBY KEITH was awesome! It was outside at Glen Helen Pavilion and the night was perfect. Toby started off with videos and blasted into fireworks and confetti over the crowed. The huge graphic behind the stage had lighting which added to the storm off in the distance with lighting of its own. He was in rare form and played all of his greatest hits. He ended the show 3 song encore in a very patriotic fashion.

Sorry for the lack of pictures of the show, we were having way too much fun.

Happy Birthday Girls! I know you gals had a great time. And I know the next year is going to one of the best years yet.
