Bio:  ‘Whiskey’ Joe Leadfoot

'Whiskey'Joe Leadfoot was born in Ontario, Canada - although the year remains a mystery. He came to British Columbia many years ago and now makes his home here. He often says “It captures the heart, and was simply too beautiful to leave”.

He is a true Gemini, and ‘Twins’ personality, both left-handed and right-handed, like both sides of a coin.  It is said that two of his ancestors were 'twin' sisters, and Country singers in a small, traveling band many years ago. Their lives were unfortunately claimed by the great flu epidemic of 1918.

Although raised on a mixture of musical styles, 'Whiskey' Joe was drawn to Country music as a 'natural', and has written songs and played guitar mostly in that genre. He was a published poet before ever recording any songs.

Joe’s music is quite outspoken, with lyrics that are liberally laced with both humor and social commentary. He simply says he “tells it like it he sees it”.

His likes and preferences are almost universal, from World Class Chess, to Sports, from Computers to Cooking. He would tell you that he does everything with the same zest as his music, and rarely finds anything that he does not like to do - or would not try.
