I have been singing most of my life, but I'm still waiting to be discovered and offered a recording contract!
When I'm not touring round the Pacific North West I can often be found in the Carpenters Arms at Coldred, near my home in Dover (UK).
My main early influences were Hank Williams & Jimmie Rogers, but I am also a fan of many of the more modern artists such as Kenny Rogers & Willie Nelson.
All my tracks on this page were recorded in my home "studio" using my Yamaha keyboard or my Tanglewood guitar and a zoom h-5 portable recorder, with any slight "tweaking" on my PC. They are all straight stereo recordings - no multi-tracking or mixing.
"Hello Nashville!" is my first solo effort at songwriting. This was followed by "Sitting on the Front Porch", "My Home In Tennessee","Grandma, We Love You", "Heading Home from Dixie" and "Three Men and a Dog". These 6 songs are now available on a CD entitled "Sitting on the Front Porch". For details, see my blog. I have another song currently in the writing stage, but it could take a while to finish!
"Mom Said Son" and "I Love Those Mountains" are the result of a collaboration with lyricist Robbie Smith.
