Don Collins was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He grew up around a musical family but Don never caught the fever of music until he was in his middle Twenties. On the way home after a Randy Travis and Alan Jackson concert, Don started singing the songs that he had heard at the concert. Don knew that's what he wanted to set out to do. Don bought himself a guitar and started learning to play songs from Randy Travis, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Merle Haggard, and Willie Nelson "paying dues" in the clubs and honky-tonks that made Country music what it is.

The Renegade Band was started the summer of 2002 and Don started honing his skills at being an entertainer. Don later changed the band name to FireCreek. FireCreek is a group of guys that is like a raging fire out of control. Always searching for a stage and an audience to light up and get them fired up with their awesome performance.

Don Collins and FireCreek collectively have performed with and opened for numerous artists; Gary Allen, Mark Chestnut,Kentucky Headhunters, REO Speedwagon, Pure Prarie League, Blackfoot, Charlie Daniels Band, and Marshall Tucker Band.

Don Collins and FireCreek presently Entertain at various venues; weddings, private parties, charity events, clubs and corporate events. Their live shows are consistently getting great reviews and reflect the dedication and professionalism you would expect from a band with this level of experience. Their passion for music and love for performing always shine through. These guys are well on their way at being more than just what some would say as just another "Regional Act." You can plan on seeing these guys on their "tour" later this year.
